Government college, Hindaun City is one of the leading Institution of higher education in the eastern part of Rajasthan’s Karauli district. The College came in to existence in 1977. At present there are 10 Programme in Arts, 5 Programme in Science and 4 Programme in Commerce at the Graduation Level. There are 2 Programme in Arts as well as 2 in Science at Post Graduation Level. The College also sees to the holistic development of the students. Apart from sports, extracurricular activities such as debates, quiz competitions, elocution, cultural progrmmes are integral part of the curriculam. Through a system of mentoring students are encouraged to be regular and sincere in their studies and to make the best use of their stay here. The College is well equipped with facilities like spacious classrooms, Laboratories, Lush green Sports Ground, Smart Classes with Interactive Boards, a Well-Stocked Library, CCTV Surveillance. The college is permanently affiliated with University of Kota, kota and accredited with NAAC “B” Grade.

Over the period of time there has been a steady progression in all areas, may it be its curricula, state of art infrastructure, research based and activity based pedagogical techniques, teaching aids, playgrounds, ICT and human resources. The College not only believes in inculcating values but also in providing solutions to meet new needs and maximizing its educational objectives. In the words of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan “The end product of education should be a free creative man, who can battle against historical circumstances and adversities of nature.” The teaching learning environment and extension activities conducted in the College are carried out with this objective. It also aims at instilling a sense of social fulfillment and responsibility among students. Numerous activities carried out in the College not only enhance campus experience but also empower the students to be responsible citizens.
